Hello from Sweet Tooth Dentistry! We are delighted that you have chosen to join us. In order to introduce ourselves, here is what you can expect at your first visit.
When you arrive at Sweet Tooth Dentistry, you will be greeted by one of our team members. Tours of the office will be offered as we are extremely proud of our practice!
Background Information
In order to provide you with the best care possible, it is important for us to know as much about your medical and dental history as possible as it may relate to your dental care. When scheduling your first appointment, please notify us regarding any medical condition that may be of concern or medications you are taking. We would also like to know your concerns and desires for your smile and oral health. If you would like to have these forms completed prior to your dental visit, please click the following link to have a printable form that you can complete and bring to your visit.
Comprehensive Evaluation
Your initial appointment will consist of a comprehensive oral exam, oral cancer screening, periodontal records, and new digital intraoral radiographs (X-rays). Although most patients will then have an excellent dental cleaning completed at their first visit, occasionally if the oral health status requires a more thorough cleaning such as Scaling and Root Planing, we may schedule you for a second visit where you will receive the proper recommended hygiene treatment.
Treatment Plan
Following a comprehensive evaluation, a personalized treatment plan will be presented with explanations of any diagnosis and treatment options. We will discuss your concerns and desires and work together to create a custom plan that is prioritized properly.
Frequently, in the case of emergencies, treatment can be completed the same day.
Please assist us by providing the following information when you visit us:
- Any current X-rays, if applicable
- A list of current medications you are taking
- Your insurance information, if applicable
Financial Review
Any questions you may have regarding financial information or planning payment for dental treatment will be answered for you today at the front desk. Checking Out and Scheduling
Our front desk team will help you make or arrange for payment as well as help you schedule any future appointments that may be needed to complete your dental treatment plan.
